Buy stop limit on DOM? How?

How do I place buy stop limit and sell stop limit orders on the DOM trader on OptimusFlow? I can do it on the chart with right-click on the mouse, but there are no options in the settings or hotkeys for the DOM trader.

Hello @gabriel,

Thanks for your question and welcome to the Optimus Futures community forum!

By default, to initiate a stop loss entry order on your DOM of Optimus Flow, you need to hold the “shift” button on your keyboard. While holding shift, you can then left-click in the bids column of your DOM to initiate a buy stop entry order or you can hold shift and left-click the asks column to initiate a sell stop entry order.

As you can see in the screenshot below, when hovering over the bids or asks column, the default entry order is a limit order (represented by the LMT tag):

Once you hold the SHIFT button down on your keyboard, this changes from LMT to STP which represents a stop loss order will be initiated instead:

Alternatively, there is a setting within your Optimus Flow DOM to swap this behavior, which will set the default order placement on your DOM to a stop loss entry rather than a limit entry. To enable this setting and swap the default order behavior, please right-click your DOM > settings:

Within your DOM settings under the “view tab” scroll all the way to the bottom and consider enabling “use stop instead limit” (2). This setting will cause the default entry order to be placed as a stop loss, without having to hold SHIFT on your keyboard.

We hope you find this helpful!
Best,
