Deepcharts Compatibility & Data Feed Setup (CQG vs. Rithmic MBO)

Hi Optimus Futures Team,

I’m looking into integrating Deepcharts into my workflow for order flow and GEX analysis. I checked the “Trading Platforms” section on the main site but didn’t see it listed, so I wanted to ask here to get the technical specifics for the connection.

A few questions for the support team:

  1. Platform Support: Does Optimus currently support Deepcharts as a third-party front-end? If so, is there a specific “connection string” or setup guide I should follow?
  2. CQG vs. Rithmic: For those of us using Deepcharts, which gateway do you recommend? I’m specifically looking to capture the “Big Trades” and Heatmap data accurately. Is the unfiltered tick data from Rithmic necessary for these features to calculate correctly, or will CQG provide the depth needed?
  3. Market By Order (MBO): If I go the Rithmic route through Optimus, do your accounts provide full MBO (Market By Order) data? I want to make sure the “Iceberg” detection and aggregated order logic in Deepcharts aren’t being handicapped by a capped data feed.

I’m trying to build a stable setup that won’t lag out during the NY open or high-volatility events, so any insight into the “best plumbing” for this platform would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Best,
DF

Hello @DOMFacts, and welcome to the Optimus Futures Community.

Thank you for your inquiry regarding Deepcharts. To address your observation, although Deepcharts is not yet listed on our official “Trading Platforms” page, this is simply because the platform is a relatively recent market entrant. However, we are pleased to confirm that Optimus Futures already services a growing number of customers who actively use Deepcharts. We intend to formally add it to our platform directory in the near future.

Optimus Futures fully supports Deepcharts as a third-party front-end. As mentioned, we already have a live user base successfully executing through this platform.

Most of our clients using Deepcharts opt for Rithmic. In our experience, Rithmic provides the high-throughput, unfiltered tick data essential for sophisticated order flow platforms.

Rithmic is known for providing full Market By Order (MBO) data. While the specific proprietary integration of these feeds within Deepcharts is handled by their software developers, we can confirm that our Rithmic feed delivers the comprehensive raw data—including full depth of book and individual order timestamps—required for advanced order flow analysis.

We can say that Rithmic, compared to many other gateways, provides the granular data that professional order flow traders need for accuracy and depth. We see it across other platforms similar to Deepcharts, such as Optimus Flow, ATAS, Bookmap and Motivewave.

We hope this helps. If you need assistance configuring your Rithmic credentials for the Deepcharts connection, please let us know!

Best regards,
