Funding a Futures Account in Two Currencies

#1

If a Futures trader uses more than one exchange, such as CME and Eurex, could he fund the account with two currencies? Eurex with Euros and the CME with USD.

Hello @CloudT,

Thank you for your question. Yes, you can fund the account with two different currencies, but we always suggest to check with us at Optimus Futures to make sure that the data feed and clearinghouse support the exchanges you wish to utilize.

Thank you. Does this mean that I can also keep my P&L in two separate currencies?

Yes, you can. This is assuming that both currencies have a positive P&L after your futures trading transactions.
