Optimus Futures + TradingView (Live Account) – Integration Questions

Hey everyone,
I’m an Italian trader mainly focused on CME micro futures, especially Micro Gold (MGC) and Micro Silver (SIL).

I’m seriously considering Optimus Futures to trade live through TradingView, and before opening a live account I’d like to clarify a few practical things about the integration (better to ask now than find out later ).

For a LIVE account (not demo/paper) using Optimus + TradingView:

  • Does the History tab in TradingView show the full order history of the account (filled, canceled, rejected, etc.), or only the current session?
  • Does it include months/years of past trades, or is there any history retention limit?
  • Are real-time P/L, starting/ending balance, and executed trades visible directly in TradingView?
  • Are executions automatically plotted on the chart (buy/sell arrows with fill price, quantity, timestamp)?
  • Is any special post-login configuration required to unlock full /ordersHistory?
  • Are there any data or feature limitations for EU/Italian live accounts?
  • Can you confirm access to CME Micro Gold (MGC) and Micro Silver (SIL) with competitive day-trading margins?

My goal is to run full performance analysis directly inside TradingView, without manual exports or separate back-office tools.

If anyone here is already trading Optimus Futures + TradingView live, I’d really appreciate hearing your experience.
Thanks in advance!

Hello @Ray67,

Thanks for your questions and welcome to the Optimus Futures community forum!

Please keep in mind that for live accounts at Optimus Futures using the TradingView platform, that your account will be configured for the CQG data feed. To answer your questions:

  1. No - the history tab only shows the current session. Once the session and calendar day is over, the information within this tab is cleared. That being said, the history of your filled orders and positions will always be avaialble via your daily account statements which you can refer back to at anytime, but please keep in mind after the day is over this data will no longer be avaialble from TradingView.
  1. TradingView does not, but as mentioned, this data is always available through your official daily account statements that are provided separately outside of TradingVIew
  1. Yes, however, PNL is only displayed for the account total during the session. The PNL is not displayed on a trade by trade (fill by fill) basis. You will only receive the total PNL for the entire acount.
  1. There is a setting within TradingView required to display executions on your charts. To automatically plot execution labels on your chart within TradingView, please right click your TradingView charts > Settings > Trading > Enable Execution Marks a & execution labels:

  1. No there is not. You would likely need to consider exporting your trading history via TradingView’s built-in export option to retain this data - otherwise it will automatically wiped out on a new day’s start.
  1. Your location is fully supported. We have no restrictions for Italian clients.
  1. The day trading margins on TradingView for MGC and SIL are the following:
  • MGC CQG Day trading margins: $396
  • SIL CQG Day trading margins: $1072.50

Thanks again for your questions and we hope this helps! If you have any further questions, please let us know!

Best,
Optimus Futures Support
