Please help me understand and do I need it? Does it give me an advantage?

Naked access is one where you are given direct access to the exchange without any risk controls of positions or margins. This is clearly not given to everyone that trades but in very extreme situations where there may be a big institution behind the trading that could guarantee any type of loss occurring.

The advantage is that trades that go through no risk controls may have less of a delay that HFT traders require.
Again, this is not a retail solution and it is extended in very rare circumstances.

when we talk of naked direct market access, we are talking of unfiltered, sponsored access directly to a trading venue.
