Will future expirations have commissions?

Hello Optimus Futures,

Do you guys charge for expired futures and Options?
I have some brokers that do and some do not, what is your policy?

Thank you for your question. Yes, all futures expiration will have a cost even if they are cash settled (we assume that is what you meant). Practically speaking, most traders do not cash settle and transfer to the next liquid contract.

Futures options on the other hand, they can expire worthless without a cost. However, that depends on theclearing firmpolicy.
